We invite you to attend our annual Chili Supper & Bazaar on Sunday, January 30th from 4-7pm at Holy Family Elementary!
You can purchase meal tickets for a delicious dinner of hot chicken sandwiches on homemade buns, chili, relishes, and desserts! Tickets are $8/adult, $4/child ages 4-12, and kids 3-and-under eat free! Mailers were sent out through the Heartland parishes, but you can also purchase meal tickets right at the door that night -- all are welcome! Our drive-thru option was such a hit last year that we're bringing it back! You can dine-in, pick up meals inside to-go, or drive through without having to leave your vehicle!
We have a thrilling Silent Auction & Raffle which will be displayed in the gym. The Silent Auction bidding will all run online again and a link will be released on the school website under the "Chili Supper / Catholic Schools Week" page, and our Facebook page, so that you can begin your bidding right from your phones!
There will be some fantastic gift baskets, services, toys, electronics, and plenty of other great items to bid on! We have some exciting raffle items again this year, including a Napolean gas grill, $1,000 cash prize, Airpod Pros, Children’s Bikes, 43” Smart TV, activity memberships, gift cards, and much more!
The game room is BACK this year, and games will all be set up in the Activity Center for any children to come enjoy and earn prizes! Tickets for games will be sold near the entrance. Our cake walk will also be set up in the Activity Center, and Bingo is offered in the Preschool classroom with some great prizes for the lucky winners!
Classroom teachers have finalized their "Feed the Pig" lists, which are fun incentives for their students to earn special dress-up days and activities, while earning more funds for the school! Our classroom "pigs" have become a huge part of our chili supper, earning our school thousands of dollars in prior years, and you can donate to ANY classroom pig through the night of the chili supper. Pigs will be displayed in the gym near the auction items if you want to donate the night of the chili supper as you browse the auction items and turn in raffle tickets!
The Scholastic Book Fair will be running in the school library, so be sure to stop by and shop for all of your young readers! All proceeds from our book fair go straight to our school librarian to purchase new books for our library. Students can also shop the book fair next week during their class library times, and it's open from 4:00-5:30 p.m. 1/24 - 1/27! The chili supper is the last day the book fair will be running.
Any meal tickets, raffle tickets and general donations for the chili supper can be mailed in or dropped by the school office. General donations will be used to purchase ground beef and chicken for our meal. Your donations help the school's budget tremendously, which allows us purchase future facility/educational materials!
THANK YOU for your ongoing support of Catholic education in our community!
