STEM Day Activities

Safe Environment Program (CMG)
The Safe Environment Program has taken the place of the former VIRTUS program and training. All families received information on the program with details on how to do the training. If you, your spouse, or a grandparent / other guardian plan to volunteer in the classrooms whether it be driving for field trips or helping in small groups where you will be supervising students, you must complete this training — you can follow the link here for directions and to begin the training. It will have you type in general information about yourself, and when it prompts you for a background check, be sure to select “YES”, as we must have that on file in order to clear you for volunteering. Once completed, if it gives you the option to print a certificate, please bring this in as well as your drivers license and vehicle insurance so that we can make copies for our records. This program is good for 5 years of volunteering. Thank you for your compliance and if you have any questions, please contact Principal Wentling or Tracy Perrett in the office!

Prayer to St. Joseph for Rain
Blessed Saint Joseph, God chose you to be the husband of the Virgin Mary and the foster father of Jesus. You cared for the Son of God as your own son and taught him a trade. Because you were so close to him, He will not refuse anything you ask. Intercede for us in our great need. Pray for the blessing of rain. We are grateful for the moisture that we have received, but the land needs more. Ask God to water our fields and gardens, to fill the rivers, streams and lakes, and to bless our crops and livestock. Help us to live close to Jesus and Mary, as you did, strong in faith and good works, caring for one another. Amen.
Mary, Mother of God, and spouse of Joseph, pray for us.
St. Isadore, patron of farmers and farm life, pray for us.
